Clay Slabs + Sculptures

Students will spend time learning many aspects of making art through clay. We will use soft slabs to create both functional and sculptural pieces

Pottery Wheel

Naturally the messiest and favorite part of clay camp! We’ll make a small bowl on the wheel as well as throw some clay at each other

Glaze Day!

We’ll discuss the origins of a glaze, kilns, and different firing techniques. The students will glaze their own pieces in food safe glazes.
